2. General Information

We endeavor to protect your data securely in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and the technical possibilities. Personal data is generally transmitted in encrypted form. We use the SSL encryption system, but we would like to point out that the transmission of data via the Internet (e.g. by e-mail) can have security gaps.

This privacy policy is regularly updated and adapted to the applicable laws and the services we offer. The current privacy policy applies in each case.

Special, supplementary or additional data protection declarations or other legal documents such as General Terms and Conditions (GTC), Terms of Use or Conditions of Participation may apply to certain offers and services.

3. Processing of personal data

By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of data in accordance with the following description.

3.1 Terms

Personal data is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable person. This can be, for example, a person’s name, address, e-mail address or telephone number. A data subject is a person about whom personal data is processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, irrespective of the means and procedures used, in particular the storage, disclosure, acquisition, erasure, retention, modification, destruction and use of personal data.

3.2 Legal basis

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. If and insofar as the EU GDPR is applicable, we also process personal data on the following legal bases in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) GDPR:
lit. a) Processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
lit. b) Processing of personal data for the performance of a contract with the data subject and for the implementation of corresponding pre-contractual measures.
lit. c) Processing of personal data for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject under applicable EU law or under applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is applicable in whole or in part.
lit. d) Processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.
lit. f) Processing of personal data for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the fundamental freedoms and rights and interests of the data subject. The legitimate interests include, in particular, our business interest in being able to provide our website, information security, the enforcement of our own legal claims and compliance with Swiss law.

3.3 Type and scope

We only process the personal data required to provide our services in a secure, reliable and user-friendly manner. This includes inventory and contact data, browser and device data, content data, meta and marginal data, usage data, location data, sales, contract and payment data.

As a rule, we only process personal data with the consent of the data subject, unless the processing is permitted on other legal grounds, such as for the performance of a contract or to protect our legitimate interests. We also process data that we receive from third parties, from publicly accessible sources or when providing our offer, insofar as this is legally permissible.

3.4 Duration

We process personal data for the period required for the respective purpose. In the case of longer-term storage obligations, due to legal and other obligations that we have, we restrict processing accordingly.

The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. As soon as the deadline has expired, we routinely delete the data unless it is still required for the fulfillment or initiation of contracts.

4. Rights of data Subjects

In accordance with the applicable laws, you have various rights with regard to your personal data. You can assert the following rights with our data protection officer:
Information about your stored data and the associated processing
Correction of incorrect personal data
Deletion of your stored data
Restriction of data processing if we are not yet allowed to delete your data due to legal obligations
Objection to the processing of your data
Data portability, i.e. receipt of the stored data in a machine-readable format, if you have consented to the data processing or have concluded a contract with us

5. Data Security

Although we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of data, the processing of personal data on the Internet can always involve potential security risks. We therefore cannot guarantee complete data security.

Access to our online offer is via transport encryption (SSL / TLS, in particular with the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, abbreviated HTTPS). Most browsers indicate transport encryption with a padlock in the address bar.
Access to our online offering, like any other Internet use, is subject to monitoring by security authorities in Switzerland, the EU, the USA and other countries without any concrete suspicion. We have no direct influence on the processing of personal data by secret services, police and other security authorities.

6. Use of the Website

In order to continuously improve the quality of our services, the following technologies are integrated into our website:

6.1 Cookies

In certain cases we may use cookies. Cookies can be used to optimize the information and offers on our website for the benefit of users. Cookies enable us to recognize users of our website. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. You can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by making the appropriate setting in the Internet browser you are using and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies.

6.2 Use of Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analysis service. Our web analysis includes the anonymous collection, compilation and evaluation of data concerning the behavior of website visitors. Among other things, a web analysis service collects data about which third-party website a user came to our website from, which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. Google Analytics uses a cookie to record this information. As mentioned above, you can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by making the appropriate setting in the Internet browser you are using.

6.3 Use of script libraries

In order to display content correctly, we use script and font libraries (e.g. Google Web Fonts) on our website. Calling up a script or font library results in a connection being established to the library provider. It is possible that the operator of the library collects data from this connection.

6.4 Use of Google Maps

We use an interface to geo-specific data from Google to visualize location-based information. Google records and uses data about the use of the map function. Information on the use of data by Google can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

6.5 Use of social plugins

Social plug-ins from various social network providers may be used on our website. The corresponding social networks use certain information via these plug-ins, which may also include personal data. If the data subject is logged into a social network at the same time as visiting our website, it can be assumed that personal data will be transmitted. We have no influence on which data is used. We ourselves do not use social plug-ins to record personal data. The privacy policies of the relevant social networks provide information about the collection, processing and use of personal data.

6.6 Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, we store the information and contact details you provide in order to process your inquiry and answer any follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us an informal message by e-mail. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

6.7 Data collection for applications

As part of an application process, we may collect and process personal data provided by applicants. This can also be done electronically, in particular if applicants submit their documents by e-mail or via an online form on our website.

7. Services provided by third parties, including abroad

We use third-party services in order to be able to provide our offer in a permanent, user-friendly, secure and reliable manner. Such services are also used to embed content in our website. Such services – for example hosting and storage services, video services and payment services – require your Internet Protocol (IP) address, as otherwise such services cannot transmit the corresponding content. Such services may be located outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA), provided that adequate data protection is guaranteed.

For their own security-related, statistical and technical purposes, third parties whose services we use may also process data in connection with our offer and from other sources – including cookies, log files and tracking pixels – in aggregated, anonymized or pseudonymized form.
